SPring-8 is a public research facility open to industry, academia and government.
The mission of the Industrial Application Division is to facilitate the active use of advanced analytical techniques developed at SPring-8 for technological development in industry. Our activities are providing consulting service and technical support for industrial users and promoting further utilization of SPring-8 through organizing workshops on excellent results obtained at SPring-8.
In order to meet any user’s needs, our staff consists of coordinators from a wide variety of research fields and experienced support staff that provides on-site technical guidance and assistance. We also operate public beam lines for industrial research and try to invent new utilization technologies according to the users’ requirements.
