Designation of Priority Fields for Priority Research Program (Nanotechnology Support, Protein 500 and Industrial Use)

The details of the designation of Priority Fields for the Priority Research Program are as follows.

Designation Date:
April 23, 2003

Priority Fields Designated:
1. Nanotechnology Support
   This field covers nanotechnology-related research proposals at SPring-8 under the Nanotechnology Researchers Network Project of MEXT.
2. Protein 500
   This field covers the subprograms for protein analysis under the Protein 3000 Project of MEXT.
3. Industrial Use
   This field covers proposals relating to industrial use including the Trial Use Program at SPirng-8.

Period of Designation:
1. Nanotechnology Support: Valid through FY2006.
2. Protein 500: Valid through FY2006.
3. Industrial Use: Valid through FY2005.
   The period of designation can be extended in principle.
