Postponement of Publication of Industrial Application Proposal Report (2011B)
After the experiment is completed, project leaders are required to submit an Industrial Application Proposal Report.
You may make a request that your industrial application proposal report remain unpublished on the website or in print for such reasons as obtaining a patent or commercialization of intellectual property, and if your request is accepted, the publication of your report will be postponed for up to two years. (The report submission deadline may not be extended.) If you wish to make the request, please attach an "Application for the Postponement of Report Publication (MS Word)" to your report. The outcome of your application will be notified in writing.
When the postponement period ends, please report to the Industrial Application Division (support@spring8.or.jp) the consequences of the postponement (e.g. A patent was granted, etc.). Please note that you may be requested to report on the status of patent application or commercialization of intellectual property, or when the research results are presented at a conference or symposium even before the postponement ends. Please also note that JASRI may use such information for PR purposes by mutual consent.
Important:
From 2011B, all non-proprietary users are required to submit a SPring-8 Experiment Summary Report within 60 days after completion of the experiment, for which the postponement request cannot be made.
