Call for Proprietary Time-Designated Proposals
The proprietary time-designated proposal program is intended for users wishing to conduct proprietary research at their preferred time. Proposals can be submitted at any time, and submitted proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis. Please note that users are charged the beamtime fee: 720,000 yen/shift (regular fee + 50% premium).
As part of proprietary time-designated proposal program, we also accept applications for the SPring-8 measurement services: XAFS Measurement Service at BL14B2, Powder X-ray Diffraction Measurement Service at BL19B2, and Mail-in Protein Crystallography Data Collection Service at BL38B1. For details, please click here.
1. Beamlines and Beamtime Available to Users
All 26 public beamlines are available. If you don't have previous experience using the beamline you would like to use, please make sure to consult the Beamline Scientist before submitting a proposal. Since the beamtime for time-designated proposals is arranged after the beamtime for other types of proposals is fixed, please check the schedule with the Beamline Scientist beforehand.
