Title: STRUCTURE ANALYSIS BY ULTRAFAST ELECTRON DIFFRACTION

Abstract: We consider recent theoretical and experimental developments in applications of bunches of ultrafast electrons for the structure analysis. These short (of the order of 100 fs) pulses with the energy higher than 30 keV allow a real-time investigation of structural transitions in solids. Along with the experimental results, we will discuss the effects of Coulomb interaction and bunch structure and coherence on the propagation and diffraction processes.
