Overview of Research Group, Goals and Purposes:

　The mission of “Research group on polymer surfaces and thin films” is to develop or establish nano・meso-scale static and dynamic experimental techniques and analytical methods such as GIXD, GISAXS, XR, GI-XPCS and imaging methods for polymeric and organic thin films. Members of this research group cooperate in promoting the advanced structural researches utilizing synchrotron radiation, which is a major breakthrough in the unsolved scientific problems from academic and industrial points of views.
　This research group supported an industry-academia joint project to construct a new beamline named‘Advanced Softmaterial Beamline’(FSBL) for 4 years. The construction of FSBL was completed in Spring, 2010.　 Since then,　this research group has indirectly supported several kinds of activities carried out by the FSBL Consortium.
