Professor Susumu Kitagawa of Kyoto University has been awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Congratulations on this remarkable achievement!
Professor Kitagawa has led the world in research on gMetal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs),h a new class of porous materials based on coordination chemistry.
He has also made significant contributions to the Specific Synchrotron Radiation Facilities Users Community (SpRUC) as a member, institutional representative, and council member.
In celebration of this award, SpRUC presents an overview of Professor Kitagawafs representative research achievements and his contributions related to synchrotron radiation.
