Sample is set in the center of a cubic transmitting medium and is pressurized isotopically with six tungsten-carbide anvils by a hydraulic press. This press is capable to generate pressures up to about 12 GPa at room temperature and temperatures up to about 2300 K at 6 GPa. X-ray diffraction, XAFS, and transmission radiography measurements are available to obtain structural information and explore structural transition for the extremely densified samples.
