Overview of Research Group, Goals and Purposes:

It is extremely important in materials design and in getting FDA approval to know internal structures in solution of the drug delivering system (DDS). It is also important to examine distribution of DDS in the living bodies, the release mechanism of the drug. Various methods have been used, but it is hard to say that quantitative analysis has established.

Recent studied by use of synchrotron radiation to address the above mentioned issues shows that synchrotron is quite powerful tools to do so, but the group studying on these issues belongs to the various fields such as small angle scattering, fluorescence analyses, X-rays imaging), and there are few numbers of the researcher because it is a new field, and there is little cross-sectional interaction with each other.
