Title:Current status of PEEM at ELETTRA and future prospect of PEEM in SPring-8

Abstract :
Photoelectron emission microscope(PEEM) has been of powerful tool for material science so far, because it can extract various information with high spatial resolution. Here, I report the results of practical training of PEEM performed at ELETTRA, which is the first PEEM established at synchrotron radiation. Training is done from 7 to 29 March to study their accumulated knowledge. I focus to learn these following points.

1) Hardware
2) Software
3) Human resource

I hope this knowledge will help to evolve the performance of SPELEEM at BL17SU of SPring-8 and to encourage the PEEM society of Japan.
