Body text

The use of high-energy x-rays makes it possible to perform structure analyses on small-size single crystals containing complicated molecules. The use of high-energy x-rays leads to a collection of high-precision diffraction data with smaller absorption effects. Figure shows the structure of an anion that contains twelve heavy atoms.

Technique

The use of high-energy x-rays allows us to perform structural analysis on small-size single crystals. This method reveals the complicated structure of single crystals. The use of high-energy x-rays can collect diffraction data with small absorption. Hence, this method is essential when the sample contains heavy atoms.
