X-ray CT system is set at BL47XU. The system can obtain three-dimensional structures of materials with the spatial resolution of about 1µm. High precision rotation stage and high spatial resolution image detector are used. The wobble of the stage is less than 0.2µm. A single crystal phosphor screen is used in the detector to achieve the spatial resolution of about 1µm.
The measured samples are as follows, metal, rock, polymer... Any kinds of materials can be imaged with this system as long as the transmittance of X-ray is enough in the energy range between 7 and 35keV.
