| Abstract |
It has been considered impossible for a long time to estimate the crystal structure from the powder diffraction pattern even if the molecular structure is well known. However, several techniques have been developed in the model building of the crystal structure for the organic and macromolecules and the crystal structures have been successfully analyzed. The aim of this Forum is reviewing the recent advances in the structure analysis of organic molecules and macromolecules using the powder diffraction pattern.
