三極ワークショップ：Three-Way Meeting 2015

概要 Three-Way Meetingは1994年にその第1回がグルノーブルで開催されて以来、第三世代X線放射光施設の様々な課題解決を共同で行うためのスキームとして機能してきた。ここから生まれ、その後より大きな会議などに発展したものも少なくない。当初からの参加メンバーであるESRF、APS、 SPring-8がそれぞれ次期計画を策定し、それらがより大きな場で議論されている現状を見ると、Three-Way Meetingの在り方を再考する時期が来たように感じられる。
今回の会議では、各施設の現状報告、サイエンスハイライト紹介に続いて、今後の放射光施設での大きな課題となりうる、データポリシー、タンパク構造解析以降のオートメーション、検出器ストラテジーに関する議論を行う。その上で今後のThree-Way Meetingの在り方について議論し、次回以降の方向性を定めることとしたい。
